1909-S/S RPM FS-1501 Lincoln MS64BN PCGS CAC Pop 4/0 Ex: ‘Abe’s Coloring Book’ Fantastic Toning! This is the PCGS Plate Coin for the 1909-S/S Brown FS-1501. The variety is not as well-known as the more-famous S Over Horizontal S (FS-1502) but is much scarcer and more in-demand. The secondary S mintmark is repunched north. I would estimate that the commoner FS-1502 variety occurs in nearly half of the surviving mintage of 1909-S cents, quite common.
